Our Policy

At Hasthiv, we take great care in packing and delivering our freeze dried fruit products to ensure they reach you in perfect condition. However, due to the nature of our products (food and consumable items), we do not accept returns or exchanges once the order has been delivered.

This policy exists to maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene for all our customers. Once a food product leaves our facility and is delivered to you, we cannot guarantee its storage conditions or safety if it is returned — and we would never resell or redistribute a returned food item.

We understand that trying a new product can feel like a risk — especially when you are buying online.

That is exactly why we offer Trial Packs. These are smaller packs designed to let you taste and experience our freeze dried fruits before committing to a full-size order. We always recommend starting with a trial pack if you are new to Hasthiv or trying a new flavour for the first time.

When We WILL Issue a Refund or Replacement

Even though we do not accept returns, we stand behind the quality of our products. We will offer a full refund or free replacement in the following situations:

  1. Damaged product — If your order arrives damaged, torn, or tampered with during shipping. You must share a clear photo or video of the damaged product and packaging within 24 hours of delivery.
  2. Wrong product — If you receive a product that is different from what you ordered. Share a photo of the product received within 24 hours of delivery.
  3. Missing items — If any item from your order is missing. Contact us within 24 hours of delivery with your order number.
  4. Quality issue — If the product inside the pouch is visibly spoiled, has an unusual smell, or appears unfit for consumption. Share a clear photo or video within 24 hours of delivery. Please do not discard the product until the issue is resolved.

How to Raise a Refund or Replacement Request

If you fall under any of the situations listed above, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with the following details:

  • Your order number
  • A clear photo or short video showing the issue
  • A brief description of the problem

We will acknowledge your request within 24 hours and resolve it within 5-7 business days. If a refund is approved, the amount will be credited back to your original payment method.

Cancellations

  • You can cancel your order before it is shipped by contacting us at support@hasthiv.com or calling +91 9030804193. A full refund will be issued.
  • Once the order has been shipped or dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.
  • If you refuse to accept delivery without a valid reason, the shipping charges will be deducted from any refund.

Non-Refundable Situations

To be transparent, here are the situations where we cannot offer a refund or replacement:

  • You simply changed your mind after receiving the product
  • You did not like the taste or flavour of the product (we recommend trying our trial packs first)
  • The product was consumed partially or fully before raising a complaint
  • The complaint is raised after 48 hours of delivery
  • The product was not stored as per the instructions on the packaging (cool, dry place — resealed after opening)
  • The delivery address provided was incorrect, leading to failed delivery or return to origin

Shipping Charges on Refunds

  • If the refund is due to our error (wrong product, damaged, missing item), we will bear all shipping costs.
  • If you cancel an order before dispatch, a full refund including shipping charges will be issued.
  • If a refund is issued for any other approved reason, shipping charges are non-refundable.
